I consider my therapeutic approach eclectic, based on humanistic principles with a strong emphasis on the importance of the therapeutic relationship. I tend to think of each person I work with as a unique and unreplaceable mosaic-pattern puzzle; thus I treat them with great care and respect. My main area of expertise is hypnotherapy, but I also use elements of cognitive-behavioural therapy and psychodrama. I feel most comfortable incorporating dreams, imagery, symbols, and other unconscious material in my therapeutic work, but can be rather rational and goal-oriented depending on what I feel would help you the most. I also offer shamanic practices for clients that are interested in spiritual problem solving. You can read about shamanic practices and shamanism here.

Any information disclosed during our sessions will be treated confidentially, including our therapeutic relationship. The only exceptions to this are occasions when you are in immediate danger of harming yourself or others or if I am legally required to disclose certain information in case of criminal activity. I might also be obliged by law to present my case notes in case of a court hearing. I might also share some details with my supervisor to maintain adequate standards of therapy  without revealing your identity to my supervisor.

There is a 48-hour cancellation policy in my practice, which means that you can cancel a scheduled appointment free of charge as long as you do it at least 48 hours prior to the session you wish to cancel; otherwise you will still be charged the full price. This policy applies to me as well: In the rare occasion that I need to cancel an appointment within 48 hours, your next session will be free of charge. Sessions will be immediately terminated with no refund if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
