ONLINE THERAPY

I also work online (via Skype by default) if that is more convenient for you. However, it is strongly advised that you book your first appointment for an in-person session and we continue online, or that you regularly have in-person sessions (e.g. once every four weeks) if you do not live too far to make our therapeutic relationship more personal.

 

The technical requirements for successful online sessions are:

  • a stable internet connection;

  • a good-quality web camera;

  • a microphone and headphones;

  • a room where you are alone and will not be distracted for the entire duration of the session;

  • and a comfortable armchair where you can relax easily in case we do hypnotherapy.

The general confidentiality rules discussed here apply to online sessions as well, although I cannot take responsibility for online confidentiality as online software does not offer a privacy policy that is compliant with the ethical standards for psychotherapy. The same Cancellation Policy applies to online therapy as to in-person therapy.
